Now inside, kill the annoying bee then get onto the driftwood. Run over there as fast as possible, and swim into its mouth.

Stomp the Diddy switch, then rocket to the top of the lighthouse for your banana.īanana 3: While on top of the lighthouse, play your guitar on the pad there to free a large mechanical fish from its cage in the other cove. You will need to lower the water first in order to reach the pad via the button on the lighthouse base, though.īanana 2: For the next banana, use the Diddy barrel near the lighthouse to get the jetpack, then rocket over to the ship circling it. Diddy Kongīanana 1: Just like DK, use the music pad to open a gate. Play your instrument there, and a door in the sunken ship will open.īanana 4: Go inside the lighthouse (by pushing the "up" button on the base of the island) and climb to the top and stomp a DK switch that will light the fuse and give you a banana.īanana 5: After Diddy activates the fourth teleporter, DK can use it to get to his Blueprint. Complete that to free a seal and score a banana.īanana 2: After you free the seal, win a race against him (and collect 10 coins) for another banana.īanana 3: Near Funky’s shack, there is an island with music pads for each character. The exception is the re-release of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze on the Switch, where he made his first playable appearance.Banana 1: Near the lighthouse, there is a DK pad that will launch you into a Barrel Blast level. He also had red sunglasses (nowhere near as cool as his shades now), and an army cap with the same camouflage design as his shirt. He had black combat boots, a dark green, camouflaged tank top shirt with matching pants and an ammunition bandoleer around his waist. Donkey Kong 64, a game originally for the classic, old-school Nintendo 64, marked him more as a soldier than a hip-hop gangster. Although Funky Kong is mainly associated with his red bandana and cool-looking shades, however, this was not his first description in a video game.
